Requirements for Initial CRISC Certification
Certification is granted initially to individuals who have successfully completed the CRISC exam and meet the following work experience requirements in the fields of risk management and IS control. A minimum of at least three (3) years of cumulative work experience performing the tasks of a CRISC professional across at least three (3) CRISC domains is required for certification. It is important to note that individuals may choose to take the CRISC exam prior to meeting the experience requirements. This practice is acceptable and encouraged, although the CRISC designation will not be awarded until all requirements are met.

Held in London over 3 days, our CRISC Exam Preparation course provides intensive revision across all 5 CRISC job practice domains. These domains represent the key areas of work across risk assessment, evaluation, response and monitoring:

  • Domain 1 – IT Risk Identification 
  • Domain 2 – IT Risk Assessment
  • Domain 3 – Risk Response and Mitigation 
  • Domain 4 – Risk and Control Monitoring and Reporting

50 questions will be discussed at the end of each domain

Please note that the CRISC exam is not included in this training course. CRISC exams take place in June and December each year and you must book your exam direct with ISACA.
